My first professional work, from 2016 to 2021. I have worked on many progression features, combat system, new game modes and PvE content
Work made within a team of 8 Game Designers, making a bridge between the whole development team and the Product managers at Scopely. Whole team had around 50 people, split on smaller teams of 10 to 15 people each
As a Game Designer, my role as to work on proposals from the Product team, iterating on design with Protuct Managers and UI Designers. Once a final proposal was ready, the system to be incremented or created would be documented and presented to the whole development and art team, including both the system rules and the tools needed to create any new content. It was also my role to create all required config for each delivery, covering economy models, balance, enemy implementation and encounter design
My main highlight from the time is an increment made to the boss fights system, where a new scoring and procedural achievements system was made, along with battle system improvements and creation of a brand new boss fight, from concept to final implementation
